Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data is processed when you use FastCV AI and how it's used.

Your resume data

The information you type into the form (name, experience, education, etc.) and the resumes you generate are stored only in your own browser (localStorage). They are never stored on any server or database of ours. You can delete them at any time from "My resumes".

AI-assisted writing

When you use an AI feature (writing or improving your resume, tailoring it to a job, writing a cover letter, translating it, reviewing it or preparing an interview), your resume content — without the photo — and, if you paste it, the job posting are sent, just for that request, to the Google Gemini API for processing. They aren't kept afterward or used to train any model.

Cookies

We store your light/dark mode preference in your browser and, if you switch language, a technical cookie with the language you chose (NEXT_LOCALE, 1 year) — these are your own preferences, never shared with anyone or used to track you, so they don't require consent. This site shows ads (Google AdSense) to stay free. If you're visiting from the EU, the UK, or Switzerland, Google itself shows you its own consent notice, managed by its certified platform, before using advertising cookies: if you accept, you'll see ads personalized to your activity; if you don't, you'll still see ads, just non-personalized ones (based only on the page's content, not your history). You can change your choice anytime from "Ad preferences" in the footer. More information and further control in Google's ad settings.

Usage statistics

To learn which parts of the site are used and improve them, we count visits and a few steps of the process (starting a CV, completing the form, generating and downloading it) with PostHog, hosted in the European Union. Only the page visited, the language, the template and the download format are recorded: never the content of your CV or anything you type. It uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser: each visit is counted anonymously on the server, so it doesn't need your consent. It isn't used for advertising or sold to third parties.

This site may show third-party ads (such as Google AdSense) to help fund the free service. These providers may use cookies or similar identifiers to show relevant ads. See Google's own privacy policy for more information.
